Booking and prices
How do I book a surf day?
Use the booking page, message us on WhatsApp or call either number. Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and your level, and we will confirm a pickup time.
What does a surf day cost?
One day is €60, two days €120, three days €165, four days €220 and five days €250, which works out at €50 a day. Private lessons are €120 to €150 per person per day.
How far in advance should I book?
The van has a fixed number of seats, so in summer a few days ahead is safer. Same-day requests are often possible outside peak weeks.

The surf day itself
Where and when do you pick up?
From Lagos and Praia da Luz. Exact points and times: [CONFIRM: pickup points and times].
How long is a surf day?
Pickup to drop-off, with two sessions in the water and a lunch break in between. [CONFIRM: typical start and finish times]
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel, sun cream and water. Boards, wetsuits and lunch come with us.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Rain does not stop surfing. Dangerous conditions do, and if every beach is unsafe we will tell you and move your day rather than take you out in it.
Do you surf on both coasts?
Yes, and that is the point of the van. South coast when the swell is small or the wind is northerly, west coast when the Atlantic is delivering.
Ability, safety and kit
Do I need to be able to swim?
Yes. You should be comfortable in the sea and able to swim without a board.
Is insurance included?
Sports insurance is included in every surf day and private lesson.
Are the instructors qualified?

Is there an age limit?
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in the group. Minimum age: [CONFIRM: minimum age].
Can I bring my own board?
Yes, we will carry it in the van. If you have no kit at all, board and wetsuit hire is €45 with a lift to the beach.
Is the water cold?
Around 16°C in winter and 20°C in late summer, a touch cooler on the west coast. You get a wetsuit either way.
